Carley State Park
Carley State Park is located in the Bluffland Landscape Region. Towering white pines stand amid an oak forest at this beautiful park. Delicate wildflowers bloom in April and May and the trail winds around the north branch of the Whitewater River.

Jon Hassler Theater
The 223-seat Jon Hassler Theater in Plainview, located in the heart of southeast Minnesota's beautiful Greenwood Prairie, is an affiliate of the Rural America Arts Partnership. The Theater is named for famed Minnesota novelist Jon Hassler, who spent his middle school and high school years in Plainview in the late 1940s and early 1950s.

LARK Toys and Carousel
LARK stands for Lost Arts Revival By Kreofsky, a fitting name for a small family-oriented company dedicated to "bringing back" toys crafted of wood. LARK Toys is a destination point for thousands of visitors each year. The 31,500 square foot complex is an enchanted spot that you must see. They offer unusual shopping and browsing in five specialty areas all under one roof - The Magic Troll Toys, Carousel Christmas, End of the Tale Books, Moose Tracks Museum, Rocking Cafe, and the LARK Toys Carousel.

National Eagle Center
The upper Mississippi River is traditionally a favorite overwintering area for a number of bald eagles. The habitat also attracts year-round resident eagles. Share with us the beauty of this great raptor by visiting The National Eagle Center or the EagleWatch Observation Deck. Located in Wabasha, Minnesota. The National Eagle Center is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is normally an Eagle Feeding Program between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM each day.

Piper Hills Golf Course
This course has fairways lined with oak trees and its small greens are fast. There is water that comes into play on a few holes.

Plainview Area History Center
The Plainview Area History Center, an affiliate of the Rural America Arts Partnership, is committed to telling the stories and preserving the history of people and events of the Plainview area, believing an understanding of the past will enrich our present and future.

Whitewater State Park
Picturesque limestone bluffs and deep ravines make Whitewater State Park a very popular southeastern park. The 2,700 acre park is an angler's paradise with brown, brook, and rainbow trout swimming in the spring-fed Whitewater River and Trout Run Creek.
